Pedigree Charts help to show the relationship of various family members. Using the "Find" function of your computer, you can easily locate the people you need. "Find" is usually part of the "Edit" menu at the top of your screen or you can usually get it by pressing CTL+F together. For a list of the different families listed here, see "The Women In My Life" since they are the ones through whom the various families are joined. Click on one of these name to go to the first occurrence of that family. It will always be a woman. Hopefully the charts are self-evident. There are 4 generations per chart. They are kept simple. To see more details, click on anything you see highlighted. If the ID number is highlighted, click on it to go to that person's family page. If highlighted, the word "More" will continue that family's line. And "generation" helps to get an idea of when they lived and what kin they are to you. The continuation, at the bottom of the page, ties it to the next chart. These 4 guideposts help you to get around. A generation is approximately 30 years. To get some idea of when a person was born, this grid may prove helpful. But the further it goes back in time, the less accurate it is. If you were born during the first generation period (1910-1940), your parents (second generation period) were probably born between 1880-1910, etc.
The charts are deliberately kept simple. Specific dates, places, children, etc. (when known) are readily attainable by clicking on the ID number. If you know something I don't and are willing to share, it would be most welcome by all who come here searching.
