THOMAS MARSHALL ----------------------------------------------------------------- Thomas Marshall, immigrant from East Anglia arrived Boston in 1634. His son, Samuel, moved to the Connecticut Colony about 1650. Samuel's grandson, Daniel, left Windsor, Ct. about 1750 as a missionary and traveled through NY, Pa, Va, NC, SC, and arrived in Georgia about 1770. Rev. Daniel Marshall established the first continuing Baptist Church in Georgia in 1771.
