Subject: David ROSSER, b. 1700 VA, m. abt 1730, Sarah PRITCHETT, descendancy Resent-Date: Sat, 4 Jan 2003 14:59:48 -0700 Resent-From: ROSSER-L@rootsweb.com Date: Sat, 4 Jan 2003 14:05:23 -0800 From: "Lisa Grimes" To: ROSSER-L@rootsweb.com Hi all, Since I did call for a ROLL CALL.... I guess that I'd better put in my own line.... or get myself into a lot of hot water. < GRIN > Most of my data.... isn't close at hand and if my cousin, Bette BENSON, is still 'somewhere' out there............. I'd love to hear from you!! .. Since my PC crash, I can no longer detail EXACTLY how that line arrives to David ROSSER b. 1700, m. abt 1730, to Sarah PRITCHETT....... nor how it splits off to the line that includes Gen. Thomas L. ROSSER of Civil War fame. Also... more detail on the lateral descendancy lines. Bette's research had confirmed our connection, with hard evidence, to one of these earliest arrivals for ROSSER's 1636-1643 in Prince George Co. VA which was to be known later as.... Charles City Co., Colonial VA. This line is found via John ROSSER m. abt 1650, Elizabeth LEFTWICH and was ... listed as living in Lancaster Co. VA in 1654. In an effort to NOT mis-detail the attachment, I'll start my descending line... from David ROSSER, b. 1700, and leave his parents-sibs... OUT. Each generation... if I do have more info on their children... I'll list them. Those generations with probable living kin... nothing, as I don't ever give out the information on anyone who is still living. Here goes: David ROSSER, b. 1700, native of Charles City Co. VA m.
