WHERE ARE WE?

The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS), developed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (BGN) of the U.S. Department of the Interior, contains information about almost 2 million physical and cultural geographic features in the United States.
For a list of those that pertain to the ROSSER family, press:

ROSSER PLACE NAMES

These are places where the neighbors thought enough of someone in the Rosser Family to name the place in their honor.

Click on a name you want and it will give more details. Then, below the details, select "Show Feature Location" and it will show two maps, one of the US as a whole and another for the area around the name you chose.

You can use this service for any place name in the U.S. you like. Just go to the Query Form, enter the "Feature Name", and press "Send Query".
