Comments :
He was known as Dr. Yates in the days when the lines between
pharmacist and physician were not clearly drawn. Her half
brother, William Bracey, had brought her back with him to MS from
Camden, SC, in 1851. In her Will, she left everything to their
son. Their first four children died in infancy and Annie Ella
had died in 1897. They were among the founding members of the
Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity in Macon, MS.
