WILLIAM YATES

My wife descends from Rev. William Yates and wife Elizabeth Randolph
(1700's Va.).  I have seen it stated that he was President of William and Mary  and  
Rector of Bruton Parish Church. We have her line back several more generations 
but know little about him and nothing back on his line.

Our descent from William and Elizabeth is as follows:

Susan Dean Yates  m.1849 Nottoway Co., Va. Daniel W. Tisdale

Annie Barley Tisdale  m. Benjamin Erving Draper (lived in Blackstone,
Nottoway Co., Va.)

Cosby Alvin Draper, Sr.  b. 1898, m. , d.1956, Charlotte Elizabeth
Elmore
(He and his brother were undertakers in Blackstone, Va.)
