This is a list of the sources from which the Yates data were gleaned, often written as a 5 or 6 digit code. The first two digits refer to the source listed below and the remaining digits are the page or other designation.

01 - The Byrne Notes - Genealogical notes by Ellen Byrne tracing the family's move west.

02 - Yates Data from the Internet - Mostly E-mail, URLs or other bits and pieces from the Web. Example: 02013 indicates this second source (02) and item 013 in this group. These link to an email address so that you can confer with them about the material. The addresses were valid when they wrote and shared their material, but be aware that people sometimes change their E-mail address, so some of them may no longer be valid. If you have changed yours, an update would be appreciated.

03 - Archives for the Yates mailing list - Enter Yates as the name of the mailing list, then look for the name or other informations that you need, and select a year.

04 - Individual postal correspondence, for the most part not available on the Internet.
